Last night the top 4 on The Voice 2014 sang on The Voice season 7 stage for the final time and tonight we will find out who won The Voice season 7! Tonight The Voice season 7 comes to a bitter end and one of the final artists will be named the winner of The Voice 2014, but who will it be? We start tonight’s finale of The Voice season 7 with a performance from the top 20 on The Voice 2014 of the song “Pompeii” by Bastille and it was a pretty great performance. When we get back from the commercial break we hear a little bit from the coaches on The Voice season 7 about their experience this season.
Craig is singing “Keep Your Hands To Yourself” by Georgia Satellites with DaNica, Sugar and Taylor for his bring back performance tonight. This is such a fun performance and I love the way they all performed it together! His choice to sing this song with all the powerhouses of the season too was amazing, loved it!
We are now watching a performance from Hozier of their song “Take Me To Church” and I am totally in love with this song! He has such an amazing voice, no wonder this song has been nominated for a Grammy for Song Of The Year!
Chris decides to bring back Luke, Ricky, Taylor and Ryan back for his bring back performance and they will be singing “Dedication To My Ex” by Lloyd and this was a fun performance from them.
We are now getting a performance by Fall Out Boy and Matt McAndrew of their song “Centuries” and I love this performance more than any other performance on this season of The Voice 2014! After that performance we get a performance of all the girls of this season of the song “Bang, Bang” by Jessie J!
The next performance is by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars of “Uptown Funk” and I’m trying to figure out why Bruno is on stage with rollers in his hair…Is this a new fashion statement I was unaware of? We then see the Top 4 surprise some fans and give them a special holiday concert. How cool would that be? Then the finalists all get a new Nissan!
Another great combination on The Voice Finale tonight, as Craig Wayne Boyd takes the stage with Lynyrd Skynyrd to sing “Sweet Home Alabama” and Craig is sounded better on this one! Still a great performance!
It’s her new song and Meghan Trainor is here to sing “Lips Are Moving” and I just love this girl. Her songs are so catchy and they are working it out up there!
Now a look at Adam and his coaching during the season and how he is headed to Broadway if Maroon 5 does not work out! Then it is time for Jennifer Hudson to take the stage with Damien. She is popping out all over the place, but we don’t mind!
We then switch over to Gwen Stefani and her time as a coach this season. Another member of The Voice family, as Ed Sheeran takes the stage to sing his new single and how can you not love this ginger?
Time for Matt McAndrew to bring back some of his friends, as he brings back Taylor Phelan, Mia Pfirrman, Taylor John Williams and Sugar Joans. I guess they were all loving Sugar this season, huh? Cool performance, but are they ever going to give us some results???
One final bring back performance, as Damien brings back Anita Antoinette, Elyjuh Rene and DaNica Shirey for the soulful performance. Not sure of the song choice, but it is fun.
Now I am jealous of both of these two, as Chris Jamison takes the stage with Jessie J to sing her new single “Masterpiece” and I just love them both. How awesome is this??? Apparently Blake Shelton is a rapper, as we look at his rapping skills from this season!
We are pushing the results back to the very end, as The Voice coaches 2014 take the stage and perform “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” to celebrate the season. It is cool and this is why I love this show, as the coaches are up there performing!
The Top 4 artists are on the stage and here are the results for The Voice USA 2014:
- Fourth Place – Damien (Team Adam)
- Third Place – Chris Jamison (Team Adam)
- Second Place – Matt McAndrew (Team Adam)
- Season 7 Winner – Craig Wayne Boyd (Team Blake)!!!
I am beyond shocked by this one, but not disappointed at all! Such a good thing and congrats to him and to Blake Shelton for getting back in the winner’s circle as coach!
